When we talked with Jason Aldean last summer, we asked him if acting was in his future. Guess what? He'd already done it, and not told anybody!!!! The 35 year old Georgia boy appears in the upcoming western, Sweetwater, starring Ed Harris and Mad Men'sJanuary Jones. The movie debuts at the Sundance Film Festival this month. ABC News Radio calls it "an intense but humorous film."
Shot in New Mexico, Sweetwater takes place in the late 1800s. So, is Jason planning on following the footsteps of singer/actor Tim McGraw? "It's one of those things where if I do a movie, I don't even know if I'm any good," Jason told ABC News Radio. "So, I may do one and it sucks and I'm a horrible actor, and I'll never do another one." Read more here. Don't worry though, Jason's not forgetting his day job!
