Luke Bryan is already a country music superstar and the newly named co-host of the ACM Awards with Blake Shelton, but we'd better add another talent to his resume---horse rescuer!  The Georgia native saved his neighbor's horse from a river in Tennessee Thursday afternoon.    Luke and a buddy happened to be boating down the Harpeth River when they noticed the animal struggling to get out of the water.  According to WSMV Channel 4, after contacting authorities, Luke assisted a rescue team in pulling 15 year old Misty to safety.   

Owner Janet McCormick, was thankful for the star's help.  "It was a blessing. If they hadn't been going down the river in the boat, I wouldn't have known that she'd fallen in.   You can't thank anybody enough for taking an interest and being so helpful and genuine. And it's a blessing to have good neighbors."    Read all about it here.   Misty is a little banged up and has a bit of a limp after her scary incident, but thankfully, a full recovery is expected and Luke has a brand new four legged fan.
