It's been all over the news this week. The miraculous story of wounded Army vet Brendan Marrocco. In 2009, he became the first U.S. serviceman to survive a quadruple amputation, after his armored vehicle was bombed in Iraq. Six weeks ago, he was the first person to have a double-arm transplant performed at Johns Hopkins Hospital. What's next? WEHT TV reports that after his doctors, Brendan wants to shake hands with Blake Shelton.

When a fan saw the story, they tweeted it to Blake who responded, "Wow.. Speechless. I will make this happen!!" And of course, Blake then posted a message directly to the soldier. "Hey Brendan @BMarr86.... I can't WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud... You my brother." Brendan replied, "Holy mother of God!! I can't wait. I'm a huge fan and really looking forward to it. Thank you." Read all about it here. Well done Blake!
About Me: I should have known I was destined to have a career where all I do is talk when I was in kindergarten at Plattsburg Elementary in the late 60's.
