On one hand, it's nice to know country superstars are just like us, but maybe this is too much? American Idol runner-up/ Georgia Peach Lauren Alaina's parents' car was broken into over St. Patrick's Day weekend in her native Georgia. Todd Roeder, chief ranger for the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park told the Times Free Press someone forced their way into Lauren's Mom and Dad's Kia Sorento, which she had parked near the Florida Monument while she and a friend went on a bike ride. Several items were taken, including clothes and other personal belongings. Even though not a lot was grabbed, it's the invasion of privacy and personal space that is bothersome, not to mention security! Read more here. Police are still on the lookout for suspects, but the real question is, why was Lauren driving her parents' Kia when she won a red hot Mustang convertible as the Idol runner-up?
At the time, Lauren said the car was a bit too “big” for the then 16-year-old, so she let her Mom drive it!
