Hand up, I’ll admit, I must have been living under a rock. Today is April 29, 2020 and Nancy Wilson just introduced me to “Forever Country” this morning. A song that was released to celebrate the 50th Annual CMA Awards....Almost FOUR years ago. I know, I’m late. My bad. Not the first time and, certainly, won’t be the last.

I quickly realized that this is exactly the type of song that the world needs right now. Bring back the legends, sprinkle in a few newer artist, and mashup some all-time classic country songs. The biggest question is, which new artists would make the cut? Could it be Luke Combs? Carly Pearce? Morgan Wallen? Ashley McBryde? Sam Hunt?
