Chris Janson decided it was time to crack open a cold one after his single, “Done,” reached the top spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. No, it was not the type of cold one you are thinking. Janson decided to celebrate his recent number one with buying a couple 12-packs of his drink of choice, Mountain Dew.
“I hadn’t drank Mountain Dew in two years until ‘Done’ hit No. 1 for the first week, and then I was like, 'Well, this is a great reason to celebrate.” Janson said. “And by the time it was a two-week No. 1, I had drank well over two 12-packs.”
I’m more of a Pepsi guy myself, but I’m sure Janson had a similar reaction to Will Ferrell’s character, Frank “The Tank" Ricard, from Old School after his first drink of Mountain Dew in two years.
