Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell may have just experienced their first big “I promise we’ll get better” moment as parents. The couple took their son, Dutton, out for his first restaurant experience yesterday (July 20) and it was certainly one they will never forget.

Not to get too graphic, but baby Dutton had a blowout diaper accident while they were at the restaurant. No big deal, that happens all the time with babies. However, there was one big problem. Chris and Lauren forgot to pack an extra outfit for Dutton.

Been there. I call them “I promise we’ll get better” moments because my wife and I have told our kids that exact phrase no less than one million times because we screw up so much. You’re not alone, Chris and Lauren.
