Dan + Shay won two awards, Top Country Song ("10,000 Hours), and Top Country Duo/Group. Maren Morris took home Top Country Female Artist and George Strait won Top Country Tour.
The biggest moment of the night was when Garth Brooks became the ninth artist, and the first from country music, to receive Billboard’s Icon Award. The most recent recipient of the honor, Cher (2017), presented the award to Garth.
