Hi! I’m Nikki Montgomery. I live in Troy with my hubs Micah and our two kiddos Bryton and Makena. We have what I like to call a “mini-farm” raising chickens and goats. We also have 3 sweet dogs. I love spending time with my family and spending time outside! I like to garden and cook. I LOVE coming to work and playing country music for all of you!
Where were you born?
Tipp City, OH
What is your favorite TV show?
I love to watch the survival show “Naked and Afraid”! I think I would kill it on that show! My husband, however, disagrees
What was the first thing you ever wanted to be?
A bartender. We spent a lot of time at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky when I was little. I would set up shop behind the cooler on the pontoon and serve drinks all day!
How might someone have described you in high school?
Have you seen those sour patch kids commercials? Sour on the outside but sweet on the inside? I think that is a good description of my high school days…
What was your first job?
Working in a tool and die shop in Troy. You have no idea how many scars I have from metal cuts!
What was your first job in radio?
I was sent out to talk to people about the hot stories of the day. The problem is, I am directionally challenged! They would send me on city over and it would take me an hour to get there! Epic fail…
What do you like about your job?
Getting PAID to talk about one of my favorite things! I love country music!
What might people be surprised to know about you?
I can weld. I worked in a shop doing some production welding for a while.
What would be a perfect day for you?
I would wake up on a lake, and spend the day floating on a cushion in the sunshine with an ice cold drink in my hand. I would be surrounded by family, friends and have good country music playing in the background.
What advice would you have for someone wanting to go into the business?
