HARRISON TOWNSHIP — UPDATE @ 7:40 p.m.
Two people were injured and several others were forced out of a home after a local fire on Saturday.

Harrison Township firefighters responded around 11:16 a.m. to reports of a structure fire at Winnet Drive, according to fire chief Mike Crist.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke showing from the roof.
Several residents were inside when the fire started.
Medics transported two people to a local hospital with smoke inhalation, Chief Crist said.
Preliminary estimates place the damage at $60,000
At least 15 adults were living in the house for rehabilitation.
The Red Cross has been contacted to assist them, Chief Crist told News Center 7.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
