HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Harrison Township Tuesday evening, a spokesperson with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

The crash occurred in the intersection of Needmore Road and Payne Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found a motorcycle and an SUV involved in a crash.
The spokesperson said the SUV entered the intersection when the motorcycle pulled out from the northbound side of Payne Avenue and crashed.
It is unclear who the at-fault driver is.
Medics took the motorcyclist to a local hospital with serious injuries, the spokesperson said.
No injuries were reported in the SUV.
Additional information wasn’t immediately avalible.
This crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Service.
