On Monday morning, she got a call that the glass from a window was shattered across the floor.
Vonalt said she just had two questions when she got the call.
“I said, ‘What happened?’ I also thought, ‘Is that guy still in jail?’” Vonalt said.
Just a few weeks ago, a vandal threw large pieces of asphalt at the store and shattered three windows.

Dayton police came out to check out the damage.
“They did a little investigation and they had some video footage and discovered that a woman who’d had a bit too much to celebrate had stumbled into the window, fell into it,” Vonalt said.
They still had a temporary fix in place when the accident happened.
“It did feel a little bit like at a local bookstore said she has after having three windows and a door smashed out just a few weeks ago,” Vonalt said.
The permanent replacement for the original shattered window was already set to go up on Tuesday.
Even after getting the windows fixed, Vonalt said she enjoys the shops downtown’s location and is happy to be back open.
