UPDATE: 2 hospitalized after driver runs red light, causes 3-vehicle crash in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS — Two people were taken to the hospital after a driver ran a red light and caused a three-vehicle crash in Huber Heights late Tuesday night.

Huber Heights officers and medics were dispatched around 10:07 p.m. to State Route 202 and Taylorsville Road on reports of a crash.

An iWitness7 reporter, Denise Davis, sent in video and photos from the scene.

It showed multiple medics and officers at the scene.

One pickup truck sustained front-end damage.

According to Huber Heights police, a driver ran a red light and caused a three-vehicle crash.

Two people sustained minor injuries, and 1 person sustained a possible serious injury, according to Huber Heights Police.

Two people were taken to a local hospital.

The driver was cited for running the red light. Impairment is not suspected to be a factor in this crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Huber Heights Police Department.
