GREENE COUNTY — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Greene County on Friday morning.

Just after 6:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 235 and Trebein Road on reports of a crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a pick-up truck operated by 61-year-old Thomas Deibler Jr. of Fairborn was traveling north on Trebein Road and stopped at a stop sign.
An SUV operated by 44-year-old Maria Baraja-Bravo of Dayton was traveling southeast on SR-235.
The pick-up truck failed to yield to traffic when turning left from Trebein Road to travel northwest on SR235 and struck the SUV in the intersection.
Barajas-Bravo was not injured as a result of the crash. Her passenger was taken to Soin Medical Center for minor injuries.
Deilber Jr. was not injured as a result of the crash. He was found to be at fault and was cited for Right-of-Way Rule at Stop Signs.
The crash remains under investigation.
