Cody Johnson has been named as the kick-off performer for RodeoHouston 2022. He's scheduled to take the stage on February 28, the first day of next year's rodeo.

Country Music Hall of Famer Connie Smith shared her newest song, "Here Comes My Baby Back Again," this week. It comes off the track list of her upcoming album, The Cry of the Heart, which is due out August 20.

Willie Nelson's Farm Aid benefit is set to return for a live, in-person show this September. Farm Aid Board of Directors members Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Margo Price and Dave Matthews (as one half of a duo with Tim Reynolds) will perform, as will Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers and more. 

Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile will release her next album, In These Silent Days, on October 1. You can watch the Courteney Cox-directed music video for its first single, "Right on Time," now.
