TULSA, Okla. — A manhunt is over after two police officers were shot during a traffic stop in east Tulsa, Oklahoma, early Monday.

According to KOKI-TV, Tulsa police said a man shot two of their officers during the stop about 3:30 a.m. CDT near 21st Street and Memorial Drive.

Police found David Anthony Ware Monday morning, who they said shot the officers and ran away.

He faces charges for shooting with intent to kill.

Both officers were taken to the hospital for surgery and are listed in critical condition.

Police said one of the officers graduated within the last year, while the other is a sergeant.
