The state is naming rest stops along the Garden State Parkway in honor of iconic Jersey natives.

Nine parkway service stations will now bear the names of people like baseball player Larry Doby, rocker Jon Bon Jovi and actor James Gandolfini, The Associated Press reported.

Connie Chung, Whitney Houston, Toni Morrison, Judy Blume, Celia Cruz and Frank Sinatra will also be immortalized at rest stops, the AP reported.

The renaming is being done in conjunction with the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Each service stop will have exhibits similar to what you may find in a Hard Rock Cafe, the AP reported.

There will be artifacts and an interactive Wall of Fame that will have a life-size monitor showing footage of inductees and their acceptance speeches.

There won’t just be rest area displays that honor the famous New Jersey residents. There will also be displays installed at the Battleship New Jersey, the New Jersey Turnpike and Newark Penn Station.
