Movie history is for sale in Los Angeles.
The house that was used for the exteriors in the 1984 film “A Nightmare on Elm Street” has hit the market for $3.25 million.
The home, however, is not on Elm Street, nor in Ohio.
Instead, the Dutch Colonial-style home, built in 1919, is located on North Genesee in Los Angeles, Deadline reported.
It is being sold by Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
The home is currently owned by Lorene Scafaria, the director of “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World,” The Los Angeles Times reported.
Not many changes have been done to the exterior of the home, except for the red door. It’s now painted black.
The inside of the home is nothing like what was seen in the film, the Times reported.
It boasts three bedrooms, three and a half baths, walnut floors, an open, retro-modern kitchen and a pool. It also has a guesthouse.
To tie in to the spooky feel, the offers for the home are due by midnight on Halloween.
The agents selling the home are also celebrating Halloween by giving out candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
“We all missed Halloween last year because of the pandemic, so this year is the Halloween comeback tour,” Learka Bosnak, one of the property’s agents, told the Times.
