And while the holiday might seem a bit cheesy, no one’s complaining about having an excuse to celebrate the gooey goodness.
In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, many restaurants aren’t eager to offer deals as they make up for revenues lost during government-mandated shutdowns.
But Moe’s is continuing its annual promotion of a free cup of queso to commemorate the special day.
Only Moe’s Rewards Members can take advantage of the deal.
As of Sunday morning, Moe’s was still encouraging people to download the app to claim the reward, but the company reportedly plans to close the deal at a certain time. At that point, only people who have already downloaded can access the voucher. New rewards members will not be able to redeem the freebie.
The offer is valid for two weeks starting Sunday through Oct. 4.
