HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A woman in Gainesville, Georgia, was arrested for allegedly attacking a man with a meat cleaver.
According to WSB-TV, Cristal Hernandez, 28, was arrested early Monday morning at a house in Gainesville.
Investigators told WSB-TV that Hernandez allegedly attacked a man during an argument in her garage. She allegedly used a meat cleaver.
Investigators believe that Hernandez and the victim had a previous relationship, according to WSB-TV.
After the attack, the victim drove himself to a store parking lot and called for help. He sustained serious injuries to his arm, according to WSB-TV. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. An update on his current condition has not been released.
According to WSB-TV, Hernandez remains in jail with no bond.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released.
